Our hobby has taken us to several countries on very enjoyable conventions. These visits are always very interesting and varied, visiting anything from small private collections to very large bird gardens and zoos. On these visits we have met and made friends with a lot of aviculturists from all walks of life. At this moment in time we have started a small collection of Avocets in the hope that we will be able to breed them successfully. The Baikal Teal are of an age now to breed as are the Smew and Bufflehead. Although we are concentrating a lot on divers we still have a great deal of affection for our Chiloe Wigeon, Carolina Wood Duck, Falcated, Hottentot and Marble Teal.
