Argentine Ruddy Duck (Oxyura vittata) 

 

(Not to be mistaken for the North American Ruddy Duck). One pair in the main garden. Chestnut body with a black head and a broad blue bill. The female normally nests in deep vegetation and the clutch size is 5-8 very large creamy coloured eggs.
