European Eider (Somateria mollissima) 

One pair in the main garden.  Very large birds with a �Roman nose� profile.  The male has a white back and breast and black sides, the head is white with a greenish tint the females are darkish brown.  Clutch size is 4-6 olive-grey eggs and our female likes a very large nest box
